Here's why…

Established in 2014 as one of the first specialty coffee shops in Barcelona, Nomads goal was to showcase the quality of specialty coffee in the city at a time when less was known about this process. It's great to see, that even today the experience of this location is strictly coffee. There's limited seating, it's coffee to go and it has a huge range of signature roasts and selections to choose from.

On our visit, the place was packed with excited customers waiting for their espressos, pour overs and everything in between. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable and asked us how we like our coffee to make something to match our tastes. The cafe is surprisingly lush and right in front is a huge collection of plants that Nomad have complemented with green throughout their store and coffee menus on the interior.

A few notes on the location: Passatge Sert is a beautiful pedestrian only walkway (not visible on Google Maps) which runs from Carrer d’Ortigosa to Carrer de Sant Pere Més Alt. Even if coffee isn't your number one goal, this is one street in Barcelona you need to check out. It cuts through the century old buildings, has a magical atmosphere and the interior is home to lots of cute independent stores. At one end of this street you’ll find Nomad Coffee - Lab & Shop.
